2      ‘Q’ magazine – ‘Exciting People’

 

This issue of ‘Q’ features the story ‘Exciting People’ and is dominated by three different music artists from three different music genres. All the artists shown are highly influential within their music genre and have been chosen as they each have a massive fan base, giving the magazine large audience coverage. This gives the impression a diverse magazine that doesn’t always specialize on a genre of music. I hope to incorporate this into my own magazine by using various musicians on the front cover to appeal to a wide audience. This is also seen with the variety of artists in the plus section of the magazine. This covers up the empty space and adds a small snippet of what can be expected in the magazine. The pink background of the bottom banner is seen as part of the colour scheme, drawing attention to the names of the singers and the background of the exciting people star. This links all of the artists together as 'Exciting People' from the way that they are all in the same colour.
